Deeply woven into the identity of Serbian wine-growing regions, Smederevka is an old, autochthonous variety which has for centuries been cultivated in the Šumadija and Smederevo vineyards. Our winery has given this ancient variety a new expression, proving that Smederevka can be a serious wine, preserving both the authentic character and the identity of the Šumadija terroir.
In our vineyard, Smederevka is pruned for a minimum yield and the highest quality. Harvesting is followed by a very short maceration and careful fermentation, with wine maturing for four months on a deposit of yeast, which lends it its complexity and concentration.
БЕЛИНА has an exceptionally fruity character, an intense aroma of pear, green apples, lemon zest and lime. Its taste is characterized by fruity succulence, fullness, and a light freshness. Solid and staunch, it reveals citruses on the palate, along with a herbaceous character and slightly salty mineral undertones.
